Etymology

A variant spelling of Rihanna, which comes from Arabic رَيْحَانَة (rayḥāna, the singulative of رَيْحَان (rayḥān, “basil; myrtle”)); this spelling was possibly influenced by unrelated Welsh names such as Rhiannon.
