What does chicken mean?
When your attack gets caught by a reversal, a chicken is the counter-input (f+1+3 for left limbs, f+2+4 for right) that breaks free and damages them instead. Almost always a hard read, rarely a reaction.
"He tried to reversal my punch and I chickened it, announcer screamed CHICKEN and the crowd lost it."
Origin
Tekken; performed by inputting f+1+3 or f+2+4 the instant your attack is caught by a reversal. The announcer literally yells 'Chicken'.
