Origin
Apex Legends and battle royale wide. 'Cracked' = the shield's been smashed; in Apex the shield visibly shatters and pops a sound cue.
Frequently asked questions
Does 'cracked' mean skilled or shield-broken?
Both, depending on context. In a fight callout it means a shield's been broken; as praise ('he's cracked') it means someone's insanely good.
