pushing p

What does pushing p mean?

Keeping it real and conducting yourself with class — loyalty, hustle, no snitching, no fake moves. The 'P' canonically stands for 'player' (as in playa), though Gunna has cheerfully said it can also mean paper, peace or whatever positive P-word fits. Deliberately vague so anyone can apply it to whatever they're doing right.

"Tipped 30% on a sandwich because the guy remembered his order from last week — pushing P."

Origin

Popularised by Gunna, Future and Young Thug's January 2022 single 'pushin P' from Gunna's DS4EVER. Gunna says he picked it up from people he grew up with in Georgia rather than coining it.
