What does reversal mean?
You're stuck in blockstun or waking up off a knockdown. A reversal is a move fired off on the first actionable frame, usually one with startup invincibility, to blow up whatever the opponent is doing. The classic get-off-me button.
"She woke up with a reversal Dragon Punch and clipped him clean out of his meaty."

Why is it called a reversal?
Because it reverses the momentum: you're on defense, eating pressure, and the perfectly-timed move flips you back onto offense.
