sourspot
What does sourspot mean?
The dud hitbox of a move — less damage, weaker knockback, no kill. Usually it's the late frames or the wrong part of the limb. Hit the sourspot and your big kill move just pokes them for chip.
"He sourspotted the up-air, so instead of a kill it just popped her up for free."
Origin
Fighting game and Smash Bros community; the opposite of sweetspot.
