What does the blue mean?
PUBG's blue zone — the encroaching wall of damage that shrinks the playable area every phase. Get caught outside the white circle and the blue chews through your health, worse each round, forcing squads together for the endgame.
"We're in the blue — sprint to the circle or it'll melt us before next phase."
Origin
PUBG: Battlegrounds, whose out-of-bounds 'playzone' boundary is rendered blue, hence 'the blue' / 'blue zone'.
