What does this is fine mean?
Shorthand for performing calm in the middle of obvious catastrophe, work meltdowns, political chaos, a relationship visibly on fire. Usually posted with the dog image; the gap between the words and the disaster is the whole joke.
"Production is down, the CEO is tweeting, my laptop just died. This is fine."

From KC Green's 2013 webcomic 'On Fire' (Gunshow #648), where a dog in a bowler hat sips coffee in a room engulfed in flames and says 'This is fine.' The first two panels became one of the most-used reaction images on the internet.
