A greeting, not a location question. The NOLA equivalent of 'what's good?' — answered with 'awrite' (alright), never with an address.

Origin
Working-class New Orleans (especially the Ninth Ward and Irish Channel) greeting. So defining of the local accent that the speakers themselves got nicknamed 'Yats'.
