A massif shared between the states of Vorarlberg and Tyrol in Austria, bordered by the Verwall in the south, the Lechquellen in the northwest and the Lechtal Alps in the northeast; the region has a long tradition of winter sports (mainly skiing) and its villages rely on tourism as their main source of income.
