Etymology

A Pig Latin version of nix, and possibly one of the only Pig Latin words, besides amscray and igpay, to enter common American English. Ixnay and amscray featured widely in The Three Stooges shorts and The Flintstones episodes, which were possibly the main sources of the words' popularity.
