In plain EnglishThe first-person plural pronoun — "I and someone else." Also used in special ways: the editorial "we" (a writer speaking for a publication), the royal "we" (a monarch speaking of themself), and the friendly/patronising "we" a nurse or doctor sometimes uses ("how are we feeling today?").

Common mistake

Object form is "us," not "we" — say "between you and us," not "between you and we."
