What is the difference between TBA and TBD?
TBA means "to be announced" — the decision is likely made or in hand, and the detail simply has not been released yet. TBD means "to be determined" or "to be decided" — nobody has settled it. TBA points at a communication gap; TBD points at an open question.
What is the difference between TBA and TBC?
TBC means "to be confirmed", implying a provisional answer already exists and just needs signing off. TBA implies nothing has been shared at all. TBC is far more common in British usage than American.
Is TBA written with full stops?
Usually not. T.B.A. appears in older or very formal printing, but plain TBA in capitals is now standard, and lower-case tba is acceptable in informal notes and listings.
