elo hell
What does elo hell mean?
A rating range where players believe their teammates are so bad they can't climb out, no matter how well they personally perform. Mostly mythical, mostly cope, but every ranked player swears they're trapped in it.
"I've won my lane every game this week and I'm still stuck, this is actual elo hell."
Origin
The term comes from 'Elo', the rating system invented by Arpad Elo for chess and adopted by competitive games for matchmaking.
