You lob a nade on a timing so it lands right as the enemy is pushing through, before they're even there to see it coming. Pure damage off prediction and a clock in your head.

A kitchen cupboard. The thing British people call a cupboard, Americans call a cabinet, the Irish call a press. Universal in Ireland — saying 'cupboard' marks you as a blow-in.

A meme-fueled show of mock-mourning. Someone reports a small disaster — flunked exam, dead phone, dog ate the homework — and the chat floods with F's. Half sincere, half taking the piss. Originally a literal button prompt; now a verbal shrug for any L.

'Printer go brrr' is condensed slang for the idea that central-bank money creation keeps pushing asset prices up regardless of fundamentals. It is used to explain why bearish bets keep failing.

When a trade is making money fast, it's 'printing' — as if minting cash. Distinct from the Fed 'printer,' this describes a winning position.

Boiling water with sugar (or sometimes baby oil, syrup, margarine) stirred in so it turns to a sticky, slow-running goo that clings to skin instead of running off. Thrown in the face it causes deep burns that doctors then have to scrape, not rinse. A signature weapon in US jails and increasingly in UK ones.

The cryptographic secret that authorises transactions from a wallet; whoever holds it controls the assets, hence 'not your keys, not your coins'.

Indicates a medication or intervention is to be given only when required rather than on a fixed schedule, such as pain medicine taken only when in pain.
probably nothing

A sarcastic phrase used to flag news or a development the poster thinks is very significant, by feigning that it's insignificant.

A phrase used to explicitly flag that a piece of news is significant, playing off the ironic "probably nothing."
probie

A probationary firefighter — the new kid, fresh out of the academy, serving their probation period (usually 12 to 18 months) before they're considered a full member of the house. Probies get the worst chores, cook for the crew, ride backwards, and are expected to study constantly. Not an insult, just a rank in the food chain everyone passes through.

A chance-based or conditional effect that triggers itself — a bonus, an extra hit, a buff — without you pressing anything. You build around making them happen more often.
proc set

Gear where the juicy bonus only goes off when the dice roll your way, on hit, on heal, whatever the set says. No button to press, you just stack it and let RNG cook.
product-market fit

The point at which a product satisfies a market's need well enough that growth becomes self-sustaining.

A full theatrical performance walked at a ball, not just a look but a whole staged number: costume, props, set pieces, and often a crew of supporting performers backing the star. The most ambitious thing you can bring to the floor, judged on spectacle and execution.
