twink
What does twink mean?
A character kept at a low level on purpose but loaded with the best gear, enchants and consumables money can buy — usually to dominate low-bracket PvP.
"That level 19 twink one-shot half our team — full BoE gear and enchants on a fresh alt."
Origin
MMO term from EverQuest and World of Warcraft for a deliberately over-geared low-level character, often funded by a main.
Frequently asked questions
Why would you keep a character low level on purpose?
To stomp the low-level PvP bracket. A twink with maxed gear and enchants crushes normal players levelling through.
