A friend or companion who carries other attendees' purchases, props, and gear around the convention floor, freeing the cosplayer to move and pose.

Espresso con panna — a shot or two of espresso served in a demitasse with a generous cap of whipped cream. Dessert in a cup. Sits in the dead space between an espresso and a macchiato on most menus.
con plague

An illness picked up at a convention from crowds, exhaustion, and poor self-care; synonymous with con crud.

The busy part of the calendar, roughly late spring through early autumn, when the majority of major conventions take place.
conbadge

A small illustrated card depicting a furry's fursona, worn on a lanyard at conventions so others can recognize the character behind the person or suit. Often commissioned from artists.

The curvature of the deck from rail to rail; more pronounced concave gives the feet more leverage and control for flip tricks.

The phase of a rep where the muscle shortens and you lift the weight against resistance.

The cohesive theme, styling, and mood a group adopts across a comeback's music, videos, and visuals. Concepts range from cute to dark to retro.

A shared taxi or minibus running a fixed route — the backbone of Dominican city transit.
conditioning

In bodybuilding, the degree of leanness and muscle definition a competitor shows; also general work-capacity fitness.
condragulations

Congratulations with 'drag' smuggled into the middle. RuPaul's pun for praising a queen who's done well, especially the week's challenge winner. One of a whole family of 'drag' portmanteaus the show runs on.
cone
Street
A joint shaped like a cone, tapering from a wide packed end to a narrow mouthpiece, holding more cannabis than a straight joint. Also refers to pre-made conical paper cones.
coner
General
A term used by nuclear-trained engineering sailors on a submarine for crew who work in the forward ('cone') sections rather than the reactor spaces.
coney
General
A natural-casing beef hot dog in a steamed bun, topped with an all-beef, no-bean chili sauce, yellow mustard and a heap of diced raw onion. Detroit eats them at 3am after the bars, usually at a 'coney island' — the local term for the diners that specialise in them (American and Lafayette being the legendary rivals downtown).

An overwrought emotional fit—a notch above a hissy fit, often with wild gesturing. Usually "a conniption" or "conniption fit."
conniption fit

An extended emphatic form of "conniption"; a dramatic outburst.
consarn

A softened curse, as in "consarn it" or "consarned contraption."
conscious quitting
General
Resigning from a role because the employer's values, ethics, or social and environmental record clash with one's own principles, rather than for pay or workload reasons.
consensual non-consent
General
Shortened to CNC. A pre-negotiated arrangement where everyone agrees, in advance and soberly, to play as though consent has been surrendered, so the scene can feel non-consensual without actually being so. The negotiation and the limits and safewords are the consent. It's the structure that makes resistance play, ravishment scenes, and total power exchange possible without crossing into real harm.

The consigliere is the counselor to a Mafia boss, consulted on major decisions and often mediating disputes within the family.
consolation goal

A goal scored by the losing team when the game is effectively already decided.

A TAS that's been played back on genuine original hardware through the controller ports and completed without desyncing. It's the gold-standard proof the run isn't just emulator magic.

A brevity code reporting sensor information (radar, sonar, etc.) at the stated position, or acknowledging the sighting of a specified reference point.

A written agreement that lays out the terms of a D/s relationship — the roles, the rules, the hard and soft limits, the activities on and off the table. It's not legally binding; its power is in the negotiation it forces and the clarity it gives both people. Some are a page, some run for chapters. Think of it as consent, written down — a reference both partners agreed to with clear heads.
