A bagman collects and transports money for a racket, such as extortion payments, bribes, or gambling proceeds.

Bagholding is the act of hanging onto an asset whose price has crashed, often refusing to sell at a loss in hope of a recovery. The holder is a bagholder, left holding the bag.
