A young man who cultivates a soft-emo, internet-native look and persona, often on TikTok, and is treated as a dating archetype.

'Drop Zone' — the designated ground area onto which paratroopers or supplies are dropped by parachute.

Describing behavior driven by a flooded nervous system rather than calm thought.

Fake medical Latin — 'dys-' (bad/disordered) plus '-copia' from English 'cope' — that sounds like a real diagnosis but means the patient (or family, or social setup) has run out of road at home and ended up in a hospital bed nobody can clinically justify. Often code for an elderly patient with dementia and no working care package. Looks proper on a chart; isn't.

Do Your Own Research — appended to almost any crypto opinion, alpha drop, or coin shill as a liability shield. Means: I'm telling you about this thing but if you lose your money it's not on me. Often genuine advice, often a fig leaf for what's effectively a pump.

A softly hit fly ball that drops suddenly just beyond the infielders for a bloop single, like a shot bird falling from the sky.

dying on the pass

What happens when the kitchen plates faster than the floor can run. Steaks rest into well-done, sauces skin over, garnishes go limp, the chef's blood pressure climbs. Every second on the pass is a second the customer isn't eating it the way it was meant to be eaten. Expo's nightmare.

Initialism for 'do you even lift.' As an adjective it labels someone or something as looking like they don't train (a 'DYEL physique').

An exclamation of pure approval — something is excellent, exciting, or knocked it out the park.
