To completely demolish someone in a competition, argument, or rap battle; to be 'bodied' is to be thoroughly beaten.

Can be a noun (the truck itself) or a verb (the act of driving one that way). Bobtailing is sketchy in the wet: no trailer weight on the drives means the back end wants to swing out under braking.

A big moth. Specifically the dinner-plate hairy ones that bomb your living room the second you open a window in July. Beloved Brummie word, often weaponised to scare younger siblings.

Proud, boastful or fond of showing off; flaunting one's success or looks. Also spelled boasie.

A slide trick in which the rider slides the underside of the deck (between the trucks) across a rail or ledge, with the board roughly perpendicular to the obstacle.

The plural term for rebounds; controlling 'the boards' means dominating the rebounding battle.

Board shorts, the durable quick-drying shorts worn for surfing; also called baggies.

A rebound — grabbing the ball off a missed shot. Named for the backboard.

To retch or vomit; 'the boak' is the feeling of nausea. 'Dry boak' is retching without being sick.
