A solidarity slogan urging retail investors to hold their positions collectively rather than capitulate, on the belief that unity gives them market-moving power.

Self-applied badge for retail traders — especially the GameStop and AMC crowd — who buy and hold a stock collectively to squeeze hedge funds. The lore: 'apes together strong,' borrowed from Planet of the Apes. Wearing the label is a flex of solidarity and a wink at the meme that they're too dumb to sell.

A Dominican way to say something is cool, great, or nifty; in the same family as chévere and jevi.

To have already invested heavily and impulsively into a coin or NFT without much research.

To pile into a coin or NFT quickly and with little or no due diligence, driven by hype, a chart, or a tweet. Often shortened to 'ape' or used as 'aped in'.

To buy a token, NFT, or stock impulsively — usually a large amount, usually without research, usually because the chart is going up or your timeline is hyped. 'Ape in' is the full phrase. Carries a self-aware acknowledgement that this is dumb behaviour, which is part of the appeal.

A metallic-particle lubricant (usually copper, nickel, or aluminium-based) smeared on bolt threads, spark plugs, exhaust studs — anywhere heat, corrosion, or galling would otherwise weld the fastener in place. Stops the bolt from seizing so you can actually get it out a year later. The grey-silver smear that ends up on every mechanic's hands.

Describing attitudes, lifestyles, or movements that reject hustle culture's glorification of overwork in favor of rest, balance, and sustainable effort.
