Houston slang for friction — a beefy or tense situation, usually between crews or hoods. Short for 'complex,' as in complications. If something's about to pop off, it's plex.

An entrepreneur who builds and runs a business entirely on their own, without co-founders or employees, handling every function themselves.

An artist who promotes on their own rather than as part of a group, whether always solo or alongside group work.

In K-pop and group fandoms, a fan who's loyal to exactly one member and not the group as a whole. Usually a slur — solo stans get blamed for dragging other members, splitting fanbases, and starting fanwars to make their fave look better.

Used as high praise for anything that delivers a powerful, joyful kick.

Describing someone reliable, trustworthy, and dependable.

A state where the game hasn't frozen — you can still move, menus still work — but progress is permanently impossible. Trapped in a room with no exit, out of a required item, stuck in a loop. Your only way out is to reset.

Describing hair with a looser, wavier curl pattern, often contrasted with 'picky' hair.

A destructible surface - not reinforced. You can punch a hole in it with bullets, melee or a small charge to make a new angle or murder hole. The bread and butter of vertical and rotational play in Siege.

A fan whose fandom style focuses on an idol's cute, wholesome, or endearing qualities with gentle, supportive energy. The counterpart to a hard stan.

A gradual version of a rug pull where founders don't vanish overnight but slowly stop working, siphon mint funds and let the project die without delivering value.

A soft limit is the grey zone. It's something you're unsure about, nervous about, or would only consider under specific conditions — the right partner, deep trust, a particular mood. Unlike a hard limit, it isn't a flat no; it's a 'maybe, let's talk.' Soft limits are exactly what negotiation is for: naming them, deciding whether and how to approach them, and agreeing the off-ramp if it's too much. A soft limit can stay soft forever, or harden into a hard no, or open up over time.
