A ROM-preservation group that produces clean, verified, properly named dumps, no intros, no trainers, no hacks, just the closest thing to the original cartridge. Their DAT files with checksums are the gold standard for checking your romset is legit.

An offensive approach in which the team lines up and snaps the ball without huddling, to keep the defense off balance or save time.

A failure to meet the standard on a graded training event; the opposite of a 'go.'

An air trick where the rider removes both feet from the pedals and extends them outward, then returns them to the pedals before landing. It is a classic show of control.

no-footed can-can

An air trick combining the no-footer and can-can: both feet leave the pedals and are extended together to one side of the bike before returning. It is a more committing variation than the standard can-can.

A person who holds no crypto, frequently used dismissively toward those who doubt or missed out on the asset class.

A choice so clearly correct that it needs almost no analysis.

A playful way of saying 'no worries', from a spoonerism of a cruder phrase.

An all-purpose reassurance meaning 'no problem', 'you're welcome' or 'don't stress'.

The go-to way to say something is fine, agreed, or not a problem at all — combining "no" with "wahala" (trouble).

no thoughts head empty

Used to describe a cute or simple character (or pet) with no worries or complex inner life.

no tea, no shade

The classic pre-emptive cushion. By swearing there's 'no tea, no shade' — no gossip, no insult — the speaker frees themselves to say something blunt and have it land as fact rather than a dig. Of course, half the time it's followed by something that is absolutely shade.

A pan-Latino encouragement not to give up or bail on a commitment.

The verbal hall pass before honesty. 'T' is truth (tea); 'shade' is the subtle insult. So 'no T, no shade' means: I'm not spilling gossip and I'm not throwing shade, I'm just telling you straight, no malice. It softens a blunt remark by promising it's coming from a clean place. Of course, half the time what follows is exactly shade, which is part of the fun.

A working-class Boston yelp of disbelief — literally 'no, sir' chewed through the accent until it's one word. Always met with its mirror image: 'ya suh!' Used when someone tells you something so wild you need to verbally check it twice. Pure South Boston / Dorchester cadence.

Hip-firing a sniper rifle straight from the third-person or default crosshair and still bonking someone. Pure feel, zero zoom. The flashiest kill in the game.

A repetition that fails to meet the technical standards of a lift or competition and is therefore not counted by the judge.

An expression telling someone their behaviour was unnecessary or out of order.

An exclamation of surprise, disbelief, or annoyance, roughly 'no way' or 'come on'. It is the polite substitute for the vulgar 'no mames'.

A milder, more printable variant is "no manches," used in the same way.

A defuse kit cuts the defuse from 10 seconds to 5. No kit means you're doing the full 10 and you need way more time bought before you can even start. The dreaded 'no kit' callout means your teammates have to lock the site down hard.

A brevity code reporting that aircrew do not have visual contact with the target or bandit; the opposite of 'Tally'. More broadly it can mean an attempt was unsuccessful.

A playful way to say 'no problem', substituting 'tos' (cough) for 'pedo'.

It's all good. No problem. Don't sweat it. The standard Mexican/Chicano shrug-it-off response when somebody apologises or asks if a favour is too much.
